Hi, I’m Les!

I’m a wife to my actual Superhero husband, mom to two teenage boys, dog mom to Zodi, singer, home cook, serial hobby collector, and the person behind Cozy Creations by Les.
 

I’ve always been happiest when I’m making something. I sing, I cook, I crochet, I make candles, I play with clay—and apparently I’m physically incapable of having just one hobby. There is always something being made around here, usually accompanied by a pile of supplies I swear I’m going to put away when I’m done.
 

For about 20 years, most of my creative energy went into the corporate world. I built a career I was proud of, but eventually I was just... tired of it. I didn’t want my next chapter to be more meetings, more screens, and more years spent making things for somebody else.

I wanted to create.
 

So, here we are.
 

These days you’ll usually find me with yarn in my lap, something cooking in the kitchen, a Taylor Swift song playing entirely too loud, and Zodi nearby supervising absolutely nothing. My husband and boys are the center of my world—and also provide a steady stream of opinions, interruptions, and “Mom, where is my...?” while I’m trying to count stitches.
 

Cozy Creations is really just an extension of me: creative, cozy, a little chaotic, occasionally sarcastic, and not particularly interested in doing the exact same thing twice.
 

And just so we're setting expectations here: I am very clearly not a professional photographer, website designer, or social media marketing genius. 😂 I'm just a woman with a lot of yarn, a lot of ideas, and a questionable number of ongoing projects trying to figure this whole small-business thing out as I go.
 

Is every product photo perfect? Nope. Do I know what the algorithm wants from me?Absolutely not.

Did I spend an unreasonable amount of time trying to make this website cute? You bet I did.

But I genuinely love what I do, I’m proud of the things I make, and I’m trying my best. 
 

At the end of the day, I make things because I genuinely love making them. I hope you enjoy bringing them into your life as much as I enjoy creating them.
